This year much attention is given to Italian jazz with the presence of artists such as Enrico Rava, Stefano Bollani, Flavio Boltro, Danilo Rea. But the programme also boasts a handful of concerts by international stars such as Ryuchi Sakamoto in a project with Noa & Solis String Quartet (14 June), Alva Noto (23 June), Oliver Lake (4 July), Joe Zawinul (11 July), Varttina (13 July), Mike Stern (16 July), Markus Miller (19 July), Sarah Jane Morris (22 July), Jason Marsalis (7 Aug) and George Garzone (11, 12 Aug). A varied programme of other cultural events including film, theatre and lectures complete the programme, but most important, the festivals wonderful venue and pleasant setting with food and wine to complete the evening, never fail to attract an increasingly faithful public.
