Movie-goers in Rome will have the opportunity to see 46 films currently being shown at the Venice film festival thanks to the initiative Da Venezia a Roma between 6 and 14 September. Among the films to be seen for the first time in the capital in the coming week are Brian De Palmas The Black Dahlia, Oliver Stones World Trade Centre and Emanuele Crialeses Nuovomondo. Discussions with actors and directors have also been programmed: the director Vincenzo Marra will be present at the showing of LUdienza Aperta on Friday 8 September at the Nuovo Sacher at 20.30. Some 24 cinemas across the city will be participating in the project, which last year saw 13,400 people attending. Tickets for all films cost 6.
