24-27 Sept 2010. This brief but intense Italo-French festival dedicated to jazz and improvised music takes place this year at the Auditorium Parco della Musica and the Casa del Jazz. Started back in 1998 from the friendship between the musician Paolo Damiani, former director of the Orchestre National de Jazz and Armand Meignan, director of the Festival of le Mans and Nantes, it focuses on experimental jazz experimentation. The programme features a selection of well known soloists and also provides space for new talent and original productions, some of which are performed for the first time.
