Tuscan Sun Festival.
5-21 Aug 2005. This arts festival was founded three years ago by the impresario Barrett Wissman, the writer Frances Mayes (author of the book Under the Tuscan Sun) and the cellist Nina Kotova. It offers a programme with top-class musicians as well as art exhibitions, poetry and literary readings and eno-gastronomical events in the surrounding countryside. Its the American dream come true of what Tuscany should look, taste and feel like.
