The Teatro La Fenice in Venice closes its 2006-2007 season with Turandot by Puccini (9-18 Dec). It is the final, unfinished opera by the composer from Lucca. When Puccini died he had composed the first two acts and a good part of the third, but the finale was missing. At its premiere at La Scala on 25 April 1926, Arturo Toscanini put down the conductor
