Time is Out of Joint
11 Oct-15 April. The inauguration of the exhibition Time is Out of Joint coincides with the completed refurbishment and reorganisation at Rome's Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea.
The reordering of the gallery spaces began in June at the behest of the new director Cristiana Collu, who took up her post last year.
Taking its title from Shakespeare's Hamlet, the exhibition explores the fluidity of the concept of time, and includes works by artists such as Giacomo Balla, Gustav Klimt, Lucio Fontana, Alberto Giacometti, Cristina Lucas, Adrian Paci, and Sophie Ristelhueber.
