18 July. The Amazing Grace Gospel Choir, under the direction of Timothy Martin, performs a concert of traditional and contemporary gospel music at Rome's Accademia Nazionale di Danza on 18 July.
The Amazing Grace Gospel Choir was founded in Rome by Timothy Martin in 2005 to promote Afro-American culture through the universal language of music, ranging from traditional to modern.
The American University of Rome is the official sponor of the choir which comprises 40 members from different countries of the world. Over the years the choir has performed at the Vatican and the American embassy in Rome as well as participating in several prestigious cultural festivals.
