3-14 May 2006. By August Strindberg, directed by Enrico DAmato from Giorgio Strehler. Temporale or Storm was one of five one-act plays written by Strindberg for his so-called Intimate Theater. The Intimate Theater was a tiny space in which nuance, a small gesture, the flick of an eyelash, could be perceived and understood. In Storm this subtlety of approach was used to the fullest. Plot is virtually nonexistent and characterisation is minimal and thus left to suggestion. There is also a silence so profound that it can be heard.
