16-20 March 2005. The annual St Patrick's Day festival lasts the best part of a week in the Irish capital. Celebrated all over the world by expatriate Irish, St Patricks Day in Ireland is arguably the most special place to be on the saints day of the 5th century Celtic priest who is thought to have been of Romano-British origin. This year is a special occasion for the St Patrick's Festival, which celebrates its 10th anniversary.
