18 March. Hortus Urbis, the "educational edible garden" in the heart of Rome's Appia Antica Park, celebrates its sixth birthday with Spring Kids Fest on Sunday 18 March from 10.00-13.00. The various workshops, held in Italian, are geared towards children aged from 0 to 12.
The event is part of the Bimbi in Festa open-air programme of activities taking place every Sunday until June, with workshops on bees, cooking, gardening, watercolours and readings.
