Sound Foundation 2.0

Following the success of last year's Sound Foundation event in Rome, the international charity fundraiser returns to La Città dell'Altra Economia in Testaccio on the evening of Friday 20 June.

The open-air party is being organised to raise money for Sound Foundation, a charity that aims to provide music education and industry opportunities to disadvantaged young people around the developing world.

The line-up comprises Sandro Joyeux from Paris, Copenhagen-based DJ Directoratet, and emerging electronic producer and DJ Cain from London, and this year the event takes place on the main stage in Largo Dino Frisullo.

Organisers recall that last year's large international crowd partied until 04.00 and raised several thousand dollars to support the Sound Foundation music education programme in Uganda.

This year they hope the event will attract an even bigger crowd, and promise great live music, international food, and other surprises.

For more details see the event's Facebook page.
