Roma Pride parade includes #LoveisGREAT float from British embassy to Italy.
9 June. This year's Roma Pride, the capital’s annual celebration of the LGBTQ community, is centred around the Colosseum end of Via S. Giovanni in Laterano, known as Gay Street, from 2-9 June.The highlight of the week-long series of events is the parade on 9 June, leaving Piazza della Repubblica at around 15.00, in the direction of the Colosseum. This year the British embassy to Italy will have a float in the parade, under the theme #LoveisGREAT, with music provided by DJLaù.

Separately, Rome's Gay Village, a popular summer-long festival, recently launched its 17th edition at the Città dell'Altra Economia in Testaccio, leaving behind its former base in EUR.
