23 Nov 2005. In an evening of choreographies by Paul Taylor. With almost no dance training and already in his early 20s, Taylor stepped onto the stage at the American Dance Festival and into the dance world in 1952. He eventually gravitated toward Martha Graham and started experimenting with his own choreography. He asked questions about style, structure, point of view. His quest for answers led him to the same path modern dance had travelled, to discard everything he had experienced in the past and to start afresh with his own explorations.
