The Teatro dellOpera di Roma closes its season with La Sonnambula by Vincenzo Bellini (23 Nov-1 Dec). The greatest interpreter of this opera, in modern times, was Maria Callas. Her interpretation has conditioned all subsequent ones and the capitals opera house, which has chosen a young up-and-coming singer, Cinzia Forte, has taken on the challenge.
