19 June-4 Sept 2006. In its first edition, this festival within a festival is dedicated to the relationship between music and cinema. Every Monday, Romes Jazz Festival at Villa Celimontana has a space for film projections, concerts, encounters with film directors, actors, critics and film music composers. The event ends with an evening dedicated to Johnny Cashs America with excerpts from the film Walk the line and a discussion on North American music of the 1950s and 1960s.
