The countdown has started to the opening of Europride in Rome on 1 June. The 12-day Europride festival programme of music, theatre, visual arts, sport, debate, film, participation and literature events is about to start.
More events have been added to the programme.
A beach volleyball competition will be held on the coast near Ostia on Friday 10 June. More details on the volleyball event are available on www.romanvolley.com.
There will also be two interesting conferences on Friday 10 June.
The first one will focus on LGBT rights and is organized by the Italian CGIL trade union in collaboration with Ilga Europe and the European Trade Union Confederation. The other one is the 4th international LGBT business leader forum designed for business executives, HR and diversity & Inclusion professionals, and LGBT leaders who have an interest in addressing LGBT diversity across European markets.
The conference will focus on the role of LGBT diversity in Italy with an eye on what the European business community can do to promote and implement safe workplaces for LGBT employees. The conference is organised by Egma, the European Gay and Lesbian Manager Association, under the patronage of the ministry for equal opportunities and the province of Rome.
