8 June-30 July. The Parione9 Gallery presents an exhibition by Italian Lowbrow artist Marco Rea who uses spray paint to transfigure a collection of fashion icons.
Rea is known for his irreverent style which involves manipulating the faces of models in advertisements, forging new portraits that are both alluring and disturbing.
Curated by Marta Bandini and Elettra Bottazzi, the exhibition comprises more than 60 works created by the Roman artist over the last 12 years. The exhibition opens at 18.30 on Thursday 8 June.
