Kids Flash Mob in Rome

Saturday 6th April at 11:00am in Piazza del Popolo

Ladybirds, an English-speaking playgroup is organising this event and we at Gymboree Play & Music think it’s a fantastic and fun initiative and are keen to help them make it successful by getting as many people as possible with kids from 0-4 involved!

It will be professionally filmed and edited. With your help, perhaps it could go viral and look like one of these:

You don’t have to speak good English, the only requirements are the following;

You need to have a kid between 0-4yrs old

  • You would need to attend one rehearsal at All Saints Church (near Piazza del Popolo)  either Wed. 3rd April 6pm-7pm or Friday 5th April 5pm-6pm
  • You would need to be able to hold your child in your arms for at least the 4 minute duration of the song
  • You would need to be able to sing (or at least lip-sync) a couple of really simple English songs.

The Flash mob will start with a small section singing  “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”. The majority of the participants will sing a reggae version of “This Old Man”.   You can find the texts and MP3 file qui. The video with the simple steps which should not take you more than a couple of minutes to learn Qui

Please contact Ladybirds directly to confirm that you can make it to one of the rehearsals and the event itself and for any further information that you require.
