Isobel Nolans exhibition at the Project Arts Centre sees the artist attempt to condense the varied strands of the artist's repertoire in paint, sketching, sculpture, and multimedia into a singular assertion. There is a short animated film, where an individual is faced with a weird and inexplicable phenomenon, as well as a series of works on paper. In her work Nolan constantly looks at the problem of representation and the problems of extracting meaning from our experiences. Her skill at switching between media is intended to underscore the inadequacy of the available tools and consequently, also of art itself. Admission is Free.
