Alison Victoria loves reading books and loves talking about them even more.
Now she can share her passion with others at a book club held each month.
The event, originally designed to help Italians develop their English, is attracting interest among readers from other countries.
Victoria, who is from New York and came to Rome five years ago, began running the club from her home.
When she placed an advertisement at Feltrinelli International near Termini station, the bookshop asked her to run the sessions there.
Its an opportunity for people to talk about books they love, to meet new people and for Italians to hear different foreign accents. We only ask that native speakers dont talk too fast.
The next meeting will discuss Jane Austens Sense and Sensibility, on 23 June (18.00)
