The German Academy will be holding a summer festival on Sat 10 June from 19.00-21.00.

Art exhibitions and concerts will abound in Viale degli Artisti, where scholarship holders will be showcasing their diverse talents from art, videos and architecture to music and literature.

Visitors will also be able to view the latest exhibitions at Villa Massimo "Rosemarie Trockel - Collection of Drawings of the Pompidou Centre, Paris" and "Maecenas The Rediscovery of the Portrait" in the mosaic hall.

The jazz pianist, Hans Ldemann will be holding a concert with the Trio Ivoire entitled "Touching Afrika" on Villa Massimos main square at 21.00.

The minister of culture for the German Federal Republic, Bernd Neumann, will be attending the festival as a special guest.
