From Wall to the Gallery

1-29 Sept. A new collective street art show at dMake Art in Rome's Monti district highlights the work of artists who participated in the sixth edition of the Memorie Urbane Street Art Festival.

Entitled From Wall to the Gallery, the exhibition features international street artists whose first works in Italy were are the invitation of the annual festival.

The artists include Dale H Grimshaw, Paulo Ito, ALIAS, Apolo Torres, Frederico Draw, NAFIR, FRZ, Khamoosh, Isaac Cordal, PichiAvo, MTO (Graffiti / Street-art), David de la Mano, kunstrasen, Lula Goce, snik, Martin Whatson, Sêma Lao, Ernest Zacharevic, Levalet, DEIH, Alaniz, Etam Cru, Natalia Rak and Hyuro.

Founded in 2011 by Davide Rossillo, Memorie Urbane has engaged international street artists to transform neglected urban areas each year in around a dozen small towns south of Rome including Gaeta, Terracina, Fondi, Latina, Priverno, Caserta and Itri.
