1-10 Sept 2005. This is a unique dance festival and certainly one of the most interesting for malnourished dance fans. The festival has always upheld dance as a witness to the energy and creativity that is born from social and racial differences. Its themes are, as always, the dialogue between cultures, the commitment to peace, the comparison between the arts and sciences and between tradition and new technologies. The programme this year includes big names such as Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Anne Teresa Keersmaeker, but the festival is really an opportunity to see cutting-edge artists and the only "fringe" performances we are likely to get.
