6 Dec-26 Feb. Palazzo Quirinale hosts an exhibition celebrating the long history of relations between China and the west, and Italy in particular.
Featuring silks, ceramics, precious metals, gems and antique maps, the exhibition is dedicated to the overlapping cultures and religions of countries in the Middle and Far East located along the ancient caravan routes known as the Silk Roads.
The show is divided into several sections that displays 80 ancient masterpieces from some of the most important museums in Europe alongside 20 works by contemporary Chinese artists.
