7 March-10 June. Palazzo Barberini presents an exhibition dedicated to the alluring work of French mathematician, Minim friar and painter Jean-François Nicéron (1613-1646).
On display is a selection of the artist's anamorphic work whose "curious reflections" and distorted perspectives only becomes clear when viewed through certain special lenses, a technique en vogue in the 17th century.
