The festival is difficult to define and the programme is extremely varied, ranging from songwriters, to rock, to drama and cabaret in the hope of attracting as vast a public as possible. However some names do stand out as guarantees of quality such as pianist and composer Giovanni Allevi (16 July), and Goran Bregovich (23 July).
