Cosmophonies 2009.
3-30 July. The festival is difficult to define as the programme is extremely varied, ranging from songwriters, to rock, to drama and cabaret in the hope of attracting a public as vast as possible. However some names do stand out as guarantees of quality like that of musician and composer Goran Bregovich (11 July) and singer musician Diamanda Galas (23 July). The stage in the Roman amphitheatre is simply gorgeous.
