3, 4 July 2009. Erazor choreography by Wayne McGregor, Russian Seasons choreography by Alexei Ratmansky and After the Rain choreography by Christopher Wheeldon. This performance has been produced for the festival and showcases the talent of the three choreographers: McGregor, Ratmansky and Wheeldon. In a programme note Alessandra Ferri, who has danced with all three of them, writes that classical ballet today is in the hands of these three choreographers just as in the 20th century Ashton, McMillan, Balanchine, Grigorovich and Petit moulded the scene. It is the first time their ballets have been performed together.
