Ca Ira by Roger Waters.
17-18 Nov 2005. Roger Waters, a founding member of Pink Floyd, presents the world premiere of his opera Ca Ira, which means There is hope. The opera, which is about the French Revolution, is based on Etienne Rodas original French libretto. With Bryn Terfel, Paul Groves, Ying Huang. The three-act opera for choir and orchestra is the result of 15 years of work and of Waters desire to tackle the theme of social justice in music.
