American Independence Day celebrations in Rome

On 7 July the American International Club of Rome (AICR) is holding an American Independence Day Celebration for all Americans and international friends of America, at an address in Rome from 17.00 until dusk. Advance ticket purchase is necessary by Thursday 5 July, either in person at the AICR office on Via Parigi 11, by 17.00, or by bank transfer until late that evening. No tickets will be sold at the door. The family-friendly open air celebration includes children's games, a raffle and live music, while representatives from the US embassy will be on hand to provide information on voting and voter registration. American food and beverages will be served throughout the evening which ends with a sparkler finale. For secutiry reasons the exact address and location will be provided after ticket purchase. However organisers say the party will be in the vicinity of Piazza dei Giuochi Delfici, near the start of Via Cassia, and is accessible by public transport.
