Passengers fell through doors of Rome night bus at Porta Maggiore.

Three passengers fell out onto the street after the doors of a moving Rome city bus opened unexpectedly, according to reports in local media.

The incident took place aboard the number 18 night bus shortly before 01.00 on 11 February at Porta Maggiore, leading to one man, an Egyptian, being hospitalised. 

The incident occurred as the crowded bus turned a corner however the driver allegedly failed to stop as the warning light signalling the irregular opening of doors was not switched on.
