No trains to Rome's Fiumicino airport this weekend
No train service between Tuscolana and Ostiense on 7-8 September.
There will be no trains to Rome's Fiumicino airport, also known as Leonardo da Vinci airport, over the weekend of 7-8 September.The closure is due to maintenance works on the following lines: FL1 (Orte/Fara Sabina-Roma-Fiumicino), FL3 (Viterbo-Cesano-Roma Tiburtina) and FL5 (Pisa-Grosseto-Civitavecchia-Roma Termini).There will be no trains operating between Tuscolana and Ostiense, with all services - including the Leonardo Express from Termini to Fiumicino airport - being replaced with substitute buses.
Trenitalia advises commuters that the city's metro network covers the area affected: Roma Termini (Termini), Roma Tiburtina (Tiburtina FS), Roma Ostiense (Piramide) and Roma Tuscolana (Ponte Lungo).
