Loose cornice prompts safety measures outside trendy Rome bar

No one was injured in the incident which occured at the corner of the building near Chiostro del Bramante at around 17.00 on 12 November.

Now surrounded by scaffolding and security barriers, the bar remains open for business however there is no outdoor seating.

Over the years the historic venue near Piazza Navona has hosted many Italian and international celebrities such as Madonna, Mel Gibson, Spike Lee and Monica Bellucci.
