Alitalia strike on 21 May

Alitalia cancels half its flights on 21 May.

Alitalia has cancelled half of its flights scheduled on Tuesday 21 May due to a 24-hour strike called by some Italian trade unions representing the air transport sector.

As a result of the strike, Alitalia says it has also been forced to cancel some flights scheduled for the late evening of 20 May and the early morning of 22 May.

However the airline stipulated that flights on 21 May scheduled during its peak times from 07.00-10.00 and from 18.00-21.00 will not be affected.
