Filippo Marignoli. Vertigo.
16 Sept-21 Nov 2010. An ample retrospective of the Umbrian artist who died in 1995. Marignoli, a self-taught painter, began showing his work in galleries when he was 25. In 1954 he joined a Spoletan group of artists committed to renewing Italian art after world war two and became an important part of the Informel movement (a European movement akin to abstract expressionism). Critics have described him as
