Anzac 90th anniversary.
Anzac day on 25 April will be commemorated by Australians and New Zealanders in Rome with a joint service at 09.00 at the Rome War Cemetery,
Via Nicola Zabaglia (near the Piramide), and in Milan with a service at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Cemetery, Parco Trenno at 10.30.
Anzac day this year will be the 90th anniversary of the tragic landings by Australian and New Zealand troops at Gallipoli in Turkey, to gain control of the Dardanelles during world war one.
