The fourth edition of the marathon “We Run Rome” takes place on 31 December at 15.00.
The 10-km course through the historic centre starts and finishes at the Baths of Caracalla, and includes Piazza Venezia, Piazza del Popolo and the Colosseum.
There is also a non-competitive version of the event which begins once the competitive runners leave the starting line, and follows the same route.
The streets on the route will be closed to traffic during the race which will take place regardless of bad weather.
Runners can register online until midday on 30 December.
