In August the library is only open on Sundays 10.00-12.30 (but closed on 17 Aug). Until 17 September, the library will only be open on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Attached to the parish of the American Catholic Church in Rome, the library has provided a lending service to Rome’s English-speaking readers for over 40 years, and is operated with the assistance of volunteers.
The library is located on the second floor of the building to the right of the Church of S. Susanna, and it houses over 20,000 titles. Its categories include literature, art, religion, archaeology, history, travel, cookery and novels, as well as a children's section containing many out-of-print classics.
