Romaeuropa festival interpretation of Pictures at an Exhibition.

13-14 Nov. Rock, video art, electronic and classicial music meet in this version of Modest Musorgsky's composition, Pictures at an Exhibition. In this performanace by The Winstons + Metal Executors on Paper, Andrew Quinn's video installation interacts with the music performed by keyboard (Enrico Gabrielli) percussion (Sebastiano De Gennaro), drums (Lino Gitto), violin (Rodrigo D'Erasmo), bass and singer (Robeto Dell'Era). Quinns's video installation substitutes Musorgski's “pictures” or the works of his friend Viktor Hartmann, which inspired the work.
