Music for Mercy concert in Rome

26 July. Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli is guest of honour at the Music for Mercy concert at the Roman Forum, by the newly-reopened Mamertine Prison, at 20.30 on Tuesday 26 July.

The event coincides with the Vatican's Holy Jubilee of Mercy, and has been organised by Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi (ORP) in collaboration with Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.

The concert line-up includes Malaysian singer Zainal Abidin, Syrian clarinetist Kinan Azmeh, Grammy-Award winning Canadian pianist David Foster, British singer Elaine Paige, Italian singer Giovanni Caccamo, and The Tenors from Canada.
