22-24 June 2006. For Ravenna Festival, in Regina della Notte, choreography by Misha van Hoecke. In theme with the festival, this year the choreographer presents a work to the music of Mozart. The piece is called Regina della Notte and is dedicated to the figure of the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute. It is easy to imagine that his dynamic group of dancers, LEnsemble will yet again captivate audiences with what has almost become their trademark combination of music, dance, theatre, and opera. After many years to collaboration with Maurice Bjart, Van Hoecke has consolidated his personal identity as a contemporary choreographer.
