Jhumpa Lahiri talks translation at Rome's Otherwise bookshop
20 March. Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist and translator Jhumpa Lahiri will discuss her latest translation: Domenico Starnone’s novel, TRICK, at Rome's Otherwise bookstore on Tuesday 20 March, from 19.30-21.00.In addition to her work as a translator, Jhumpa Lahiri is the author of four works of fiction, including Interpreter of Maladies, Unaccustomed Earth, The Lowland, and The Namesake; and a work of nonfiction, In Other Words.
Starnone, who will not be present at the Rome event, is the Strega Prize-winning author of 13 works of fiction including First Execution, Via Gemito and Ties. For full event details see Otherwise website.
