4, 5 Dec 2007. For Romaeuropa Festival, one evening for the women and the other for the men, both dedicated to Japanese modern and contemporary dance. The starting point on both evenings is butoh, a form that first appeared in 1959 as a new style that had little in common either with Japanese tradition or with western dance.
