16 Oct-2 Dec. Sala 1 pays tribute to Italian conceptual artist Carlo Maria Mariani, with an unprecedented exhibition of collages made in recent years.
The exhibition is part of the "Fuori Quadriennale" series of external events attached to the 16th edition of the Quadriennale d’Arte di Roma, taking place at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni from 13 October until 8 January.
Based in New York, Mariani is known predominantly for his figurative paintings which represent a dialogue between art history, allegories and dreams.
