12, 13 May 2010. In Another Sleepy Dusty Delta Day, choreography by Jan Fabre. For Fabbrica Europa. The Belgian multidisciplinary artist, playwright, stage director, choreographer and designer Fabre has revisited this 2008 theatre/dance solo with the young performer Artemis Stavridi. The title is taken from the legendary 1967 hit Ode to Billy Joe by Bobby Gentry. The theme of forbidden love and suicide constitutes the starting point of the creation in which Fabre narrates his own story about loving and letting go, about jumping into the endless unknown.
