Film screenings at British School at Rome
6 June. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Liberation of Rome and D-Day, the British School at Rome screens two films on the evening of 6 June, from 18.00-22.30.
The first film, Roberto Rossellini's neorealist masterpiece Roma Città Aperta (1945) will be shown at 18.00.
This is followed by the screening at 21.00 of The World at War, episode 17 ‘Morning June–August 1944’, narrated by Laurence Olivier.
