Based in Amsterdam, Emio Greco|PC is a collaborative partnership between Italian-born dancer Emio Greco one of the most compelling dancers and choreographers in Europe and the visionary Dutch theatre director Pieter C.Scholten. For Greco and Scholten the curiosity about the body and its inner motives serve as the starting point for creating dance. Emio Greco|PC seeks to create a performance in which all elements stage design, sound, lighting are there to support, provoke and evolve with the body in a state of discovery. Congiunto di nero creates an ever-changing world of brightness and darkness where the dance drives the light and the light drives the dance. It is an astonishingly physical work that accelerates with a ferocity of movement, leaving its spectators reeling with emotion.
