7 March 2006. In Il cappello a tre punte and Bolero, choreography by Antonio Marquez. The former member of both the Ballet Nacional de Espana and the Ballet Espanol de Madrid, launched his own company in 1995. The mix of Spanish classical dance and flamenco is criticised by flamenco purists, but Marquez is a stage animal with charisma as well as being a sensational and extremely well-trained performer.
