The tenth edition of this festival organised by Flavio Severini in conjunction with the Ciampino municipality sees a line-up of big names of Italian Jazz, from Enrico Rava to Paolo Fresu, from young saxophonist Francesco Cafiso to Furio Di Castri, from pianists Antonello Salis to Enrico Pieranunzi. The programme also features other musicians of international fame such as Lee Konitz, Irio De Paula and Ludovico Einaudi, who inaugurates the event at the Auditorium Vito Volterra in Ciampino. Big-name bands Maurizio Giammarcos new Orchestra Jazz Parco della Musica, Freeform Kollektiv as well as Javier Girottos excursions into Argentinian folk music alternate on stage with solo protagonists and small formations. Concerts begin at 21.00.
