44th Festival Pianistico Internazionale Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli. 14 April-12 June 2007. The festival this year is dedicated to Beethoven and to the Estonian composer Arvo Part. Contemporary music also returns with force for the first time since the 1985 edition that had featured a special contemporary music section. As always, the programme is made up of many big names in the music world including Sir Neville Marriner, the Orchestre National de France conducted by Kurt Masur, the Tallin Amongst the soloists who stand out are the names of Evgenij Kissin, Grigory Sokolov, Leif Ova Andsnes, Andrea Lucchesini and Fazil Say.
